FAQs
HOW DO YOUR MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS WORK?
All our dogs have monthly memberships w/ discounts (12 days per month discounts to $40/day, 20 days to $36, etc.). If a dog uses all the days in their monthly membership and they need more, we can add days at the same discount. Alternatively, if ever there is a month where you don’t use all your days, any unused days will be rolled over to the next month.
*as long as you renew your membership for the
following month*
-
All our dogs must have monthly memberships each month to join daycare
-
We do not allow single days or walk-ins
-
If you become a member and there is ever a month you will not be coming to daycare you have the option to pause your membership for up to 90 days. We call this a PAWS.
-
*unused membership days cannot be used without a valid current monthly membership
WHAT IS A MEET
AND GREET?
A meet and greet is a required short first meeting usually lasting about 30-45mins— where we meet your dog and gauge their ability to socialize with the pack. If they pass, we will extend our membership options and express opportunities for training if need be. This process allows for imprinting and creates a positive experience for our new furry friends to integrate into the pack.
Please note that this step can only be completed after receiving all your personal contact info and vet records.
DO YOU REQUIRE RESERVATIONS FOR DAYCARE?
We do not require reservations for daycare, so you can feel free to stop in at any time during our business hours Mon - Fri (8 am - 8 pm) and Sat - Sun (9 am - 6 pm) so long as your membership is active. We do close some holidays but we always post notices in advance and include that in our weekly emails.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR TWO OR MORE DOGS?
Yes, we offer discount memberships for households with
2 dogs
-
Please contact us for special discounted rates for families with more than 2 dogs in the same household.
HOW WILL MY DOG BENEFIT FROM DOG DAYCARE?
We believe every dog would benefit from daycare. Daycare is a safe and healthy environment for socialization, giving your dog a chance to Play, Train and Chill™ and make new friends while they are here.
ARE THERE ANY BREED RESTRICTIONS AT THE WLD?
No, we do not have breed restrictions. Our decision on whether or not to accept dogs is based on careful evaluation of each individual dog and their ability to be friendly, social members of the pack, no matter the breed. On the flip side, any dogs that demonstrate aggressive behavior will not be allowed to join as a member of the WLD pack, again independent of breed.

DO ALL SIZES OF DOGS PLAY TOGETHER IN DAYCARE?
We have 3 main rooms at WLD and we delegate each member to a specific room in accordance to size and personality– we have rooms for small, medium, and larger dogs, always supervised by our team of humans. We find this is an efficient way of maintaining a balanced level of calm and playfulness. During potty breaks and training classes, we will occasionally integrate dogs of different sizes to play with other groups.
CAN I BRING MY DOGS FAVORITE TOYS AND CHEWS?
No, we prefer you do not. Outside toys and treats are not permitted as they can create problems amongst our dogs such as resource guarding and competitiveness. We like to find play activities that include the whole group. So we kindly ask that you keep their stuff at home. We just need your dog and we provide the fun.

WHERE WILL THE DOGS BE FED?
Dogs may love playing with other dogs, but they often don’t like sharing their food. For that reason, we have separate spaces and crates that allow every dog to be fed individually.
WHAT ABOUT DOGS ON SPECIAL DIETS OR DOGS THAT REQUIRE MEDICATION?
We’re experienced at working with dogs that have special dietary needs as well as dogs requiring daily medical attention. We ask that you please give us very explicit, written instructions so that we can feed and give them meds exactly as you would at home.
ARE THERE ANY MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS?
Please check with your vets to ensure you are up to date on all the standard shots and vaccines. Before you can enroll in a membership (or even schedule a meet and greet), we require a copy of your dog’s medical records. Additionally, whenever updates are administered, please share with us to put on file. We also require that your dog be on a flea and tick medication at all times of the year.
DOES MY DOG NEED TO BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED?
Yes. For the safety of your dog and all other members, as well as the relaxed social atmosphere of the play areas, we must insist that all dogs be spayed or neutered. However, if you are currently awaiting your appointment, consult with your vet to see if they feel that your dog is ready to be in a group. Vets know the specifics of each breed and have better insight on your dog than we would be able to provide. Nonetheless, we still have lots of opportunities for our young pups as they await their appointment. We have puppy classes for our dogs under 1 years old that your dog can participate in and we are also available to meet to help you plan their social and training options for the near future.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY DOG GETS INJURED?
In an emergency, we would take your dog to the nearest Emergency Vet which is MASH in Hollywood to seek urgent treatment as required as well as contact you/your emergency contact. For more acute injuries, we will attempt to remedy the situation, and if veterinary care is required we will inform you and enquire on how you would like us to proceed.
