TRAINING

At We Love Dogs LA, we follow our own signature Play, Train, Chill™ philosophy. We believe that a well-trained dog is a happy dog, so we offer a variety of training options such as our weekly pack classes, classes on leash walking, special puppy classes for dogs under 2 years, and even private sessions at your request. During training classes, we work on social and leash skills, listening better, and walking as a group. As part of our philosophy, we are always looking for ways to incorporate “Chill” into our training. It is our unique tried and true method of helping all of our dogs learn to self-regulate and be more calm and relaxed. Every single one of our classes serve as a stepping stone to creating a more balanced pack.

Pack class

At WLD, our Pack Classes are more than just walks. They’re a unique blend of exercise, socialization, training, and mindfulness that helps dogs of all ages become more balanced, confident, and happy.

What is a Pack Class?

Each session follows our Play · Train · Chill philosophy:

  1. Pack Walks – Structured group walks designed to build listening, reduce reactivity, and strengthen leash skills. Walking together as a unit allows dogs to learn from both their handlers and each other.

  2. Training Challenges – Small group exercises to practice patience, focus, and calm decision-making. From leash skills to agility games, we keep it fun and engaging.

  3. The Chill – Guided relaxation time with Tibetan singing bowls, calm energy, and space to decompress. This is where the magic happens — dogs learn to release anxious energy and settle into a peaceful pack dynamic.

Why Pack Classes work

  • Routine builds confidence – Dogs thrive on structure, and our consistent weekly schedule helps them feel secure.

  • Social learning is powerful – Dogs learn just as much from each other as they do from us.

  • Balance matters – It’s not just about exercise — it’s about teaching calm, patience, and mindfulness.

  • Results at home – Owners see the difference in better walks, calmer behavior, and stronger bonds.
